A must stop when in the Napa/St. Helena region. Grab some lunch, coffee, antipasti, a new bottle of wine, or regional condiments/accoutrements. There is something for everyone here. Expect to wait as it's a popular spot, but this adorably chic farm house/vineyard market will and always be a favorite.

I recently visited Oakville Grocery Store in Napa Valley, and I must say, it was an absolute gem! This charming little grocery store is packed with delightful finds that make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful selection of Napa Valley tchotchkes and souvenirs. My sister couldn't resist picking up two adorable tote bags, which she absolutely loves. The store also features a fantastic deli with fresh meats, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to create an elegant charcuterie board. They have everything you need to put together a stunning spread! One of my favorite sections was the coffee and Danish area, which added a cozy touch to our visit. Of course, there was wine everywhere--because what's a trip to Napa Valley without it? The store truly captures the essence of the region. I also couldn't help but think that if I were a chef, I'd find unique ingredients here that you wouldn't typically come across in a regular grocery store. It's the kind of place that inspires culinary creativity! Overall, Oakville Grocery Store is definitely worth the experience. Whether you're stocking up for a picnic, looking for souvenirs, or just exploring, this charming store has something for everyone. Don't miss it on your next trip to Napa Valley!

Oakville Grocery is a Napa gem! Apparently it's the oldest continually operating grocery store in California, and I do love some California history. They offer bakery items, deli style food, gourmet grocery/pantry items, and lots & lots of wine! We stopped for a casual lunch on our way to a wine tasting, and it was the perfect choice. We enjoyed a BLTA deli sandwich and a small serving of Greek salad under an umbrella on the patio. There was ice water available in a self-serve dispenser. There's no inside seating, so finding shade was imperative on this particularly warm day. We walked through the Oakville Wine Merchant next door, and this two story library of wine with an ornate chandelier was pretty neat to see. They have a wall of self-serve wine... you can pick "tastes" or full glasses. We didn't stay for that, but it looked kind of fun. A lot of Napa is really boujee, there's a "quiet luxury" vibe that can be intimidating to outsiders. Aside from the price tag (i.e. $20 deli sandwich) Oakville Grocery felt comfortable and welcoming to all, which I appreciated. The food was really good, too!

One of my new places in California period I don't care!! Amazing quality food and drinks, perhaps the best wine slush and cheese & crackers in my life. I really really like this place and encourage anyone who is in the area and can afford it , to stop here. It's like a little piece of Europe right here in Northern California - the vibes and ambiance are amazing. There's a ton of beautiful outdoor seating with gorgeous views of wine country and also the road right there with lots of traffic let's be real. But who cares! I love it here so much it's so yummy and so boujee. The workers were nice/ nothing crazy but the service was on point with everything else. Lots of antique history of wine in one of the buildings I'm truly obsessed

Wow This lil joint packs in a lot of good stuff! Family run grocer offering gourmet goods like oil; jams; tapenade etc - an extensive wine selection with a tasting room across the way and brick oven pizzas; salads and Sammie's! Try the Curry chicken salad with currants and cashews - wooooweeeeee! That thing was mighty tasty! They have just about anything you need! The staff is uber friendly and fast getting your food to ya but done right! It's trendy and homey at the same time! Wish we had one here in NC!

I loved this little roadside stop in the Napa valley. First thing to know is that it'll come up fast on the side of the road and it can be a bit hairy getting in and out. Parking isn't in abundance so you might be squeezing into a tight spot or need to look nearby for someplace to land. We were lucky and got a spot but it was a bit of a squeeze in our big SUV, and it was one of the last few spots left right around lunch. Once you park, and are situated, you'll find yourself in a super charming historic area, with views of vineyards, and picnic tables for a casual dining experience. The actual grocery is small, chock full of charm, and has really great sandwiches on the menu. Best sandwich ever? No, but definitely one worth the price, and full of flavor. The lines here are long, but the folks working were kind, and I really enjoyed taking in all of the high end cheeses and olive oil for sale in the shop. If I had more time in the area I think I'd come back here to create a killer charcuterie board. Bonus: across the open air seating area you'll find a little wine shop and museum. It's very small, but I found it to be charming, and fit the vibe of the space. It's worth the 15 minutes it'll take you to browse.

A beautiful historic spot in Napa, featuring fast casual dining and shopping. We stopped on our way in to fuel up for our upcoming tastings. We were able to a variety of sandwiches and pay by the pound fresh salads. It was a bit chilly and gloomy, we sat on the patio and broke bread and caught up. Overall the service was relatively quick, they're ironed out their system and there are plenty of A-frames with directions for us newbies. Price wise it was about what I expected to pay for sandwich + drink+ salad $25 and it was fantastic.
